Privacy policy
Last updated: 2026-10-07
This policy covers synergygeeks.com and polymux.io. Both are operated by Synergy Geeks LLC, a single-member company based in the United States. Questions and requests go to privacy@synergygeeks.com.
What the sites collect
Contact form (synergygeeks.com only). A submission requires a name, an email address, a preferred contact method and a message. A phone number and extension are optional unless the preferred contact method is call or text. The IP address the submission was sent from is recorded with it. The message can contain anything its sender writes, so sensitive details are best left out.
Automatic collection (both sites). Cloudflare, the hosting provider, receives every request. It sees the IP address, browser and device type, the page requested and the referring page. These are used to deliver the pages, to block automated traffic, and to produce aggregate traffic statistics through Cloudflare Web Analytics: page views, referrers, countries, device types and page load times.
Bot check. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated traffic. Turnstile receives the visitor's IP address and checks the browser.
Cookies. A browser check on 2026-10-07 found no cookies and no browser storage set by either site. The sites run no advertising and no analytics from other companies. If that changes, this policy changes first.
polymux.io has no form. Its status feed collects nothing beyond the automatic items above.
Why
Submissions are used to reply to the sender. Automatic data is used to run and secure the sites and to see overall traffic. Nothing is sold, shared for advertising or used for profiling, and no marketing list exists.
Who receives it
| Provider | What it does | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Hosting, bot detection, Turnstile, Web Analytics, and the database holding form submissions | Every request, and each form submission |
| Resend | Sends the notification email for each submission | Name, email, phone, extension, contact method, message, time and IP address |
| Microsoft 365 | Hosts the company mailbox | The notification email and all email correspondence |
These providers act for the company. Nobody else receives the data, except where the law requires a disclosure.
How long it is kept
- Form submissions in the database: deleted automatically 24 months after they arrive.
- The notification email for each form submission: deleted automatically 5 years after it arrives.
- Other email correspondence: kept until the company deletes it.
- Rate-limit records (an IP address and a time, used to slow repeated submissions): deleted within about a day.
- Cloudflare logs and statistics: kept for the periods Cloudflare sets.
Deleted records can remain in provider backups for a limited time.
Rights and requests
Anyone, wherever they live, can ask what is held about them, ask for a correction, or ask for deletion, by emailing privacy@synergygeeks.com. Requests are answered within 30 days. The reply goes to the address the original message came from. Deletion covers the database and the mailbox, except where the law requires a record to be kept. Residents of the EU, the UK and other regions may have further rights under local law, and may complain to their local data protection authority.
Children
The sites are written for business visitors and are not directed at children. A request to delete a child's data is handled like any other.
Do Not Track
The sites do not track visitors across other websites. Because no standard for Do Not Track signals exists, the sites do not act on them.
Changes
